Cultural Exchange Fellow
Remote and/or On the Ground

Welcome Language Artist!
This fellowship is designed for curious, open-minded, socially intelligent people interested in language, culture, community, creativity, global connection, and personal growth through meaningful human experiences.
Planting Good Seeds is building a global movement rooted in cultural exchange, entrepreneurship, creativity, storytelling, and community connection. Cultural Exchange Fellows help strengthen the relationships, conversations, and shared experiences that allow people from different backgrounds to genuinely learn from one another.
This is not a traditional study abroad or travel experience. It is a collaborative fellowship designed to help participants become more confident communicators, stronger relationship-builders, and more globally aware individuals while participating in a growing international creative network.
You will walk away from this opportunity with:
Opportunities to build meaningful international relationships
Greater confidence communicating across cultures and backgrounds
Exposure to new ways of thinking, creating, living, and collaborating
Access to the PGS alumni network and future collaborative opportunities
Increased confidence in communication, adaptability, and community engagement
Opportunities to participate in creative projects, workshops, discussions, and storytelling initiatives
A stronger understanding of how culture, entrepreneurship, tourism, creativity, and identity intersect
This fellowship is an investment in our relationship and your access to a growing international community.
Phase One (Remote Onboarding | 1–2 Months)
Community-Backed Support Campaign
During onboarding, fellows begin developing stronger communication, networking, and relationship-building skills through collaborative preparation, group discussions, storytelling exercises, and cultural exchange activities.
Participants are encouraged to raise support for their learning journey while developing confidence in presenting themselves, connecting with others, and navigating unfamiliar environments and perspectives.
Throughout this phase, fellows receive collaborative guidance and support while preparing for deeper integration into the movement.
Phase Two: Cultural Exchange, Community Connection & Global Collaboration
Once the on-the-ground team arrives in the Caribbean, Cultural Exchange Fellows continue participating remotely or in person through collaborative discussions, storytelling, language exchange, relationship-building, creative projects, and ongoing community engagement.
Cultural Exchange Fellows attend the daily 5:00 PM Sharing Circle meetings, helping process emotional experiences, observations, cultural discoveries, communication challenges, and emerging opportunities connected to the movement.
Cultural Exchange Fellows may:
Participate in language exchange and conversational learning experiences
Build friendships and meaningful relationships with fellows and community members
Collaborate with artists, storytellers, performers, and creatives from different backgrounds

Document observations and reflections through writing, photography, or creative storytelling
