Terms & Conditions -
The Basics 

1. Purpose of the Organization
Planting Good Seeds (“PGS”) is a for-profit cultural and entrepreneurial initiative focused on creativity, sustainability, international collaboration, education, storytelling, and community-driven development.
Our programs may include:

  • International fellowships

  • Cultural immersion experiences

  • Entrepreneurial training

  • Creative collaborations

  • Remote mentorship opportunities

  • Research and development projects

  • Community events and workshops

Participation does not guarantee employment, compensation, immigration sponsorship, investment returns, or future partnership opportunities.

2. Eligibility
Participants must:

  • Be at least 18 years old unless written parental consent is provided

  • Provide accurate application information

  • Behave respectfully toward local communities, participants, mentors, and partners

  • Follow all applicable local laws and regulations

PGS reserves the right to deny or revoke participation at any time for behavior considered harmful, unsafe, exploitative, discriminatory, disruptive, or misaligned with the values of the organization.

3. Program Participation & Independent Responsibility
Participants understand that:

  • They are responsible for arranging and funding their own travel, accommodations, meals, insurance, and personal expenses unless otherwise explicitly stated in writing.

  • Participation in fundraising campaigns is voluntary and independently managed by the participant.

  • PGS does not guarantee fundraising success.

  • International travel carries inherent risks, including health, transportation, environmental, political, and cultural risks.

Participants assume full responsibility for their personal decisions, actions, and safety while participating in any PGS-related activities.

4. Cultural Respect & Community Conduct
PGS values cultural sensitivity, humility, and long-term relationship building.
Participants agree to:

  • Respect local customs, traditions, and community leadership

  • Avoid exploitative, extractive, or “voluntourism” behavior

  • Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or harmful conduct

  • Represent the organization honestly and professionally

PGS reserves the right to remove participants who damage relationships within the communities we work alongside.

5. Intellectual Property & Media Release
By participating in PGS programs, participants grant PGS permission to use photographs, video, audio recordings, testimonials, creative works, and documentation created during participation for:

  • Educational purposes

  • Marketing

  • Social media

  • Fundraising

  • Publications

  • Website content

Participants retain ownership of their original personal work unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
PGS may request separate agreements for collaborative commercial projects, publications, or licensing arrangements.

6. No Guarantee of Results
PGS does not guarantee:

  • Career outcomes

  • Financial success

  • Social media growth

  • Business partnerships

  • Employment

  • Investor funding

  • Residency opportunities

  • Personal transformation outcomes

Any examples shared through the website, presentations, or promotional materials are illustrative and not promises of future results.

7. Payments & Refunds
Unless otherwise stated:

  • Payments, deposits, or contributions made toward participation are non-refundable.

  • Participants are responsible for reviewing all program details before making payments.

  • PGS reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify programs due to safety concerns, weather, low enrollment, political instability, or unforeseen circumstances.

In certain cases, partial credits or rescheduling options may be offered at PGS’s discretion.

8. Third-Party Platforms
PGS may use third-party platforms including:

  • Payment processors

  • Fundraising tools

  • Social media platforms

  • Booking platforms

  • Community software

We are not responsible for the policies, outages, security practices, or functionality of third-party services.

9. Assumption of Risk
By participating in any PGS-related activities, participants acknowledge and voluntarily assume risks associated with:

  • International travel

  • Physical activity

  • Ocean or outdoor environments

  • Construction or recycling environments

  • Transportation

  • Cultural exchange activities

  • Public events

Participants are encouraged to obtain appropriate travel and health insurance.

10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Planting Good Seeds, its founders, collaborators, contractors, mentors, volunteers, and partners shall not be held liable for:

  • Personal injury

  • Illness

  • Theft

  • Property damage

  • Financial loss

  • Delays

  • Travel interruptions

  • Emotional distress

  • Indirect or consequential damages

Participation is voluntary and undertaken at the participant’s own risk.


11. Website Use
Users may not:

  • Copy or reproduce website content without permission

  • Misrepresent affiliation with PGS

  • Use the platform for unlawful or harmful activity

  • Attempt to interfere with website security or functionality

12. Changes to Terms
PGS reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website or participation in programs constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
