We're On a Mission
Planting Good Seeds and La Semilla Taganguera unite global creativity and local leadership to transform trash into treasure, teach English through art, and inspire communities to not only protect the land and sea they call home — but to honor her, our Madre Tierra.
We Build Bridges
Planting Good Seeds (U.S.) and La Semilla Taganguera (Colombia) are sister organizations co-creating a one-of-a-kind educational and artistic retreat in Taganga — where sustainability, culture, and creativity meet.
Together, we are building a living classroom that teaches environmental awareness through the arts, while also teaching English to empower local youth and families to share their stories and protect their land.
Our programs combine art, language, and ecology: cleanups become creative projects, trash becomes treasure, and English becomes a bridge to opportunity.
From youth English clubs and volunteer-led movie nights to recycling art competitions, reforestation events, and artist residencies, every activity connects people across cultures.
We believe true education begins with curiosity — and that creativity is how we heal communities, restore nature, and remind people that they belong to something greater.
