Be Part of Their Story

Safeguarding Our Home & The People Who Care for Her.

A
Caribbean
Way of Life

Things move slower here, and so could you.

You can move slow and still have big plans to do whatever it is you'd like to do next.

Come live slowly with us. This is your chance.

The Caribbean is drowning in plastic. Trash floats into Taganga from the city next door. The youth dream of meeting people like you to learn English but have no support. Families care about their home, but lack resources to keep it clean and green.

In Taganga, no one's an outsider when you're protecting the community. You'll be welcomed right in to this special circle of multi-generational indigenous people, empowered to take back and restore their land.

This is your opportunity to join a fellowship focused on discovering, protecting, and empowering....and it all starts with uplifting you

Uplifting You.

The people who come here are not one thing.

They are entrepreneurs, artists, leaders, backpackers, wanderers — and people between chapters.

They arrive looking for a reset.
A pause.
A place where the nervous system can soften and something quieter can be heard.

Taganga offers that naturally.

Here, the mountains meet the sea. Trails lead to hidden beaches. Hammocks hang where time slows. There are countless places to rest — to swim, hike, sit, write, watch the light change, or simply breathe with the rhythm of the ocean.

And Taganga is also real.

There are loud beach parties, late nights, and moments of excess. There are contradictions, imperfections, and the visible tensions that come with a country still finding its balance. This place doesn’t insulate you from the world — it places you inside it.

For many, that contrast becomes part of the gift.
An invitation into perspective.
Into gratitude.
Into choosing presence over escape.

Taganga doesn’t promise comfort at every moment — but it offers something rarer: the chance to feel fully alive, grounded, and awake to the world as it is.

What Your Ticket Includes

Your ticket covers housing and airport pickup, so you arrive supported and held from the moment you land.

Most of your time in Taganga is yours — to rest, explore, swim, hike, write, create, or simply be. This place is known for helping people slow down, reconnect, and rediscover their sense of direction.

In exchange, we ask for 10–15 hours per week of shared effort — time spent contributing to projects that matter, alongside others who are here for the same reasons.

Your presence helps us:

  • practice English with kids and adults

  • lead beach cleanups and care for public spaces

  • plant trees and clean streets

  • transform beach waste into creative projects

This is not about doing more.

It’s about doing something meaningful — together.

Fundraising Your Journey

To make this experience possible, participants fundraise their program costs before arrival.

Fundraising is not a hurdle — it’s part of the journey.

It’s an invitation to share where you’re going, why it matters to you, and to allow friends and family to support your growth, curiosity, and commitment to sustainable community work.
We provide tools, guidance, and ideas to make fundraising approachable and aligned with your values — something that feels honest, empowering, and even enjoyable.
Transparency matters to us:
All funds raised go directly toward covering your own program costs. This model allows you to arrive without financial pressure and to fully receive what this experience offers.
